Director of PSC Camp

Bill Sorensen was born in Scottsdale and grew up in the valley where he attended Horizon High School. He graduated from Arizona State University in 2003 with a degree in secondary education with an emphasis in biology. He currently teaches at Cactus High School. Bill coaches Junior Varsity Football and Junior Varsity Softball at Cactus High School. He is continuing his education through the distance learning program at Northern Arizona University in the field of educational leadership.

Bill and his wife, Kara, have been married since 2006. They recently became the parents of two beautiful twin babies (Jack & Ava) in February! For five years, the Hubbard Summer Sports Camps have been fortunate to have Bill as a part of our team. Bill is an excellent example of responsibility and maturity for his staff while displaying an energetic learning environment for the kids. Bill is loved by all his staff and the campers. He is a joy to be around and creates a wonderful camp environment. Bill says, “I enjoy being a part of the Camp because of all of the interesting young people I get to interact with on a daily basis. In addition, the job is genuinely enjoyable as I am able to witness the athletic development of the young campers from week to week.”
