Ann Marie (Hubbard) Sunderhaus
General Director of Hubbard Summer Sports Camps
“Put your name on it” is a common phrase that you will hear from Ann Marie. She says it with pride because that is what she has done for years and continues to do as she works to improve and grow the Hubbard Summer Sports Camps. She has put her heart and soul into a business that her parents, Bob and Kathy Hubbard, began years ago. She believes it is a tremendous opportunity for kids to enjoy the summer and for the great staff to impact the youngsters of our community.
Ann Marie understands the importance of a strong business while truly believing in the reason her family is in business: to better the lives of children. She has impacted many children over the years through her involvement in Hubbard Sports Camp, since 1996, and Hubbard Family Swim School, since 1999.
Ann Marie was born in Cincinnati but grew up in Phoenix. She is a graduate of St. Thomas the Apostle and Xavier College Prep. Ann Marie attended Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she earned her undergraduate degree in business. After graduating she continued her soccer career playing professionally with the Arizona Heatwave and the Cincinnati Ladyhawks. Throughout that time she was also involved in the coaching world, training youth teams and eventually finding her way back to Xavier University as the assistant coach for the womens soccer team. While coaching, Ann Marie earned her Masters Degree in Sports Administration.
