What is a Friday Theme Day?

Every Friday we pick a theme for camp. All campers and counselors are encouraged to dress up and participate in the theme. It is something different and silly to make our Fridays even more fun. If your camper would like to participate, please see the following list of theme days! Please wear gym shoes everyday!

Theme Day Descriptions

June 1- Crazy Day – Come to camp in the craziest get-up ever seen. Jaws should drop and the bursts of laughter should be uncontrollable. This broad theme leaves the door open for unconditional creativity. Crazy hair, socks, clothes, backwards shirt… anything goes!

June 8- Jersey Day/Favorite Sports Team Day – Dress up in your favorite college, high school, grade school or sports team attire.

June 15- Hawaiian Day – Campers wear your favorite beach attire to sports camp. Sun hats, flowers, and leis. Get Ready to Hula and Limbo!

June 22- Inside Out/Backwards Day – Come dressed with everything on inside out or backwards!

June 29- Red, White and Blue Day – Red, white, and blue is a must. Dress head to toe in patriotic colors.

July 6- Super Hero/Princess Day – This is your chance to be a super hero or a beautiful princess for the day! Whether you are Spiderman or Cinderella, all are welcome at sports camp! It is hot, super hero and princess t-shirts does count as attire.

July 13- Western Day – Calling all cowboys and cowgirls! Wear your hats, pigtails, plaid and denim. Please wear gym shoes.

July 20- Color Day – Wear your favorite color from head to toe. Hair, clothes, socks, shoes… whatever you can find in your favorite color!

July 27- Olympic Day – USA, USA, USA! Come dressed in red, white, and blue and get ready for some fun competitions.

Aug. 3- Hubbard Autograph Day – All staff and campers wear plain white t-shirts or Hubbard camp shirts. We will provide teams with permanent pens. Take home your friends, counselors and coaches’ autographs!

Aug. 10- Water Day – Come dressed ready in your swimsuit and water gear! We will be playing a variety of water games throughout the day! What a fun way to end the summer.
