Come and join us at Hubbard Summer Sports Camps. We play, laugh, and care for kids and staff all summer long.

Our team includes several different roles:

Director/Assistant Director
You are the backbone to running a great camp. You are the mentor, communicator, and leader. You are responsible for communicating with all parents and staff. You supervise all activities, staff, and campers. You exemplify Hubbard standards. You aid in handling children’s behavior and communication with parents. You communicate daily with the Executive Director. You handle daily payments and paperwork. Organization, Athletic background, energy and great communication skills are paramount

Counselor
You and another counselor care for a group of campers for the week. You lead them from station to station as they are learning and playing games with you and the coaches. It requires patience with the little ones, teamwork with the staff, and energy to create a great experience for you and the campers. Responsibility for the kids is paramount.

Coach
You are the teacher, the motivator, and the leader. You plan sessions that incorporate a variety of skills to introduce to new campers and challenge the veterans. You work with the counselors to help each camper learn while having fun! Experience playing or coaching a particular sport is wonderful but not required. General knowledge of the sports and energy to play and teach the campers is necessary. The sports the campers learn are soccer, basketball, volleyball, swimming, and archery.

Swim Instructor
You teach campers swim lessons based on Hubbard Family Swim School's standards. Some background in swimming is encouraged but not required. If you have energy and desire, we'll teach you. Training must be completed before the first day of camp. Training consists of 20 hours in the pool at the Hubbard Family Swim School as well as a classroom session.

Food Staff (Monday-Thursday)
A very important role indeed! You prepare food for about 200-300 hungry campers and staff. We encourage healthy foods. We have a list of past favorites and a requirement for particular food groups.

Afternoon Supervisor and Staff
(Monday-Friday, 3:30-6:30pm)
We are looking for energetic, responsible people who can interact with kids as well as communicate with the parents. The role will involve looking after the kids as they depart from camp, collecting daily payments and interacting with the campers and parents.
